I've stayed at this gem of a hotel a couple of times now and cannot recommend ot highly enough. The staff are always really friendly and welcoming, the rooms are clean and tidy and the food is always top notch. The location is perfect and there's a nice little beach and harbour to explore.

I loved staying at the Davron. Dinner was good, the bed comfortable, the people friendly and the Sunrise stunning. I definitely recommend the kipper for breakfast unless you are really hungry.

This hotel is definitely a hidden gem, great location, restaurant and a pub on site. Rooms are modern and clean. And lovely food on site. The locals are very friendly in the bar, there's also a pool table in the bar. Breakfast very tasty.

Stopped here for lunch today, food and service could not be faulted. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area looking to stop for food. Will certainly eat here again in the future.

What an excellent, welcoming establishment. Nothing was too much trouble. Service in all departments was great. Restaurant is extremely popular. The Davron is a stone's throw from the pretty beach and there is a quaint little harbour too. Breakfast menu is amazing. I visited for a long weekend with my daughter and loved it. Will definitely visit again. Privately owned which really does make all the difference. The popularity of The Davron is testament to the great service you experience. The restaurant will blow your mind. Just so good

Good accommodation. Don't be put off by the exterior and the inevitable smokers just outside the front door. The rooms were clean and cosy. The food is freshly cooked and well presented. The Staff were attentive but not overly. Breakfasts were outstanding and I really enjoyed the haggis.

Stayed for a weekend at this hotel. Rooms are clean and modern. Views from the top floor bedrooms are beautiful. Food was spot in and the staff friendly and helpful. Had a drink in the bar in the evening where we were welcomed by the locals. Lovely hotel.

L’hotel si trova ai margini di una larga piazza utilizzata come parcheggio, a pochi metri dal mare. L’accoglienza è professionale, ma gentile ed efficiente. La camera è tra le più belle di sempre: spazi adeguati, mobilio moderno e funzionale, materasso alto e comodo, bagno pulito e curato. Se pensiamo che la camera con la colazione ci è costata solo 90 sterline, siamo sicuramente molto soddisfatti della scelta – anche considerando il luogo in cui siamo, che ci ha regalato tanta meraviglia durante il tragitto per raggiungerlo. La colazione in hotel non è a buffet, c’è un menù da cui possiamo scegliere il piatto che preferiamo. Abbiamo scelto le uova alla Benedict con il salmone, ma in cucina avevano finito il salmone – abbiamo ripiegato sulle uova alla Benedict con il prosciutto cotto. Con caffè americano e latte freddo, questa è stata in assoluto la miglior colazione della vacanza. Le uova erano cotte magistralmente, il tuorlo fuoriusciva morbido e si sposava alla perfezione con la deliziosa crema Hollandaise che ricopriva le due uova. Una vera delizia per i nostri palati padani! Il ristorante dell’hotel, a nemmeno venti passi di distanza dalla nostra bella camera, è risultato essere una buona scelta per la cena: il servizio è stato attento e cortese, e abbiamo speso 60 sterline per una buona cena a base di cocktail di gamberi, bastoncini di mais, manzo alla Straganoff con riso bianco e verdure, un tortino di pesce e tre pinte di birra – tutto buono, con ingredienti freschi e saporiti.

Can't comment on rooms as we didn't stay. Service and servers first class, very attentive and polite. Food was lovely and portion size was great, with fast service. Ideally located in the village square not far from the harbour and caravan park and campsite.

My husband and I went for senior meals today the menu is great and the food is absolutely first class and prices reasonable, and the service is spot on will definitely be back.

We did not book a room. We took our dinner in the attached restaurant. First, the food was good. However there was a missunderstanding. On the continenet most time the term "carfery", also called buffet means you are free to reload your plate. In this place you have to pay more than one time the full price, even if you have loaded only small portions. And there is no excuse. Yes, it is according to the rules. But, this behavior is ... We will not join again.

Just stayed at the Davron I can't fault the staff especially Kirsty, she went out of her way to help us they are amazing. restaurant and food is something else.I would recommend it to anyone who loves to just eat out.to try this place definitely worth visiting 4 star plus.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Davron Hotel, we were welcomed by the staff even though we went in by the wrong door!! All staff we met were great, the place is like a tardis, it just keeps getting bigger and better. We had a loveley evening meal and a great breakfast here
